Frequently Asked Questions About Home Cleaning

Plain answers about what a cleaning covers, how scheduling works and how estimates come together. Don't see your question? Ask us.

Services and What's Included

What's included in regular house cleaning?

Routine cleaning focuses on the rooms you use most and the surfaces you see: kitchens, bathrooms, floors and reachable furniture. We agree the exact checklist with you. Ask separately for extras such as appliance interiors or detailed baseboards.

What's the difference between regular and deep cleaning?

Regular cleaning keeps up a home that gets fairly steady upkeep. Deep cleaning gives more time to selected details, buildup and tasks beyond routine maintenance. The real difference is the list we agree with you before the visit.

Do I need a deep clean before recurring cleaning?

Not always. If the home needs a reset first, we may suggest one and explain why. It depends on the condition of your home.

Can I book a one-time clean?

Yes. Request a one-time clean for a refresh, for visitors or for a busy week.

What is move-out cleaning?

A clean built around a move. What matters is whether the home will be empty and which tasks your checklist requires, such as the inside of cabinets or appliances.

Will a move-out clean get my deposit back?

No cleaning company can guarantee your deposit back. That decision depends on the condition of the property, your lease and the landlord's inspection. Send us your landlord's list and we'll work from it.

Can I ask for just the kitchen and bathrooms?

Tell us which rooms you want cleaned. We'll let you know what we can do and how it's priced.

Are window interiors included?

Not by default. Interior windows, tracks and blinds are separate tasks. List them in your request and we'll include them in the scope.

Are the inside of the oven and fridge included?

These are extras. Add them to your request before we put the estimate together.

Is carpet shampooing included?

No. Vacuuming carpets is part of a house cleaning. Shampooing and carpet extraction are a different service.

Can you clean up mold, biohazards or pest residue?

Those situations need specialist remediation rather than house cleaning. Have a qualified professional assess them first.

Do you wash dishes or do laundry?

Only if we've agreed it as part of your cleaning. Neither is part of a routine visit, so ask when you request.

Do you clean offices?

Yes. We clean offices, studios and small workplaces, with the task list and the schedule agreed before the first visit.

Scheduling and Recurring Cleaning

Can I have weekly cleaning?

Yes. Request a weekly schedule and we'll confirm the day with you.

What about every-other-week or monthly cleaning?

Both are common. Tell us which you'd like and we'll confirm the schedule before your first visit.

Can I have the same day every week?

Tell us your preferred day and time. We'll confirm what we can offer when we set up your schedule.

Will the same cleaner come every time?

If it matters to you, say so when you request. We'll let you know what we can arrange.

Is a request the same as a confirmed booking?

No. A request starts the conversation. We confirm the date, the scope and the price with you before anything is booked.

How soon can you come?

Put the earliest date that works for you, and how flexible you are, in your request. We'll tell you the first date we can offer.

Can I reschedule or cancel?

We'll go over rescheduling and cancellation with your estimate, before anything is booked.

Can I pause recurring visits?

Tell us when you need a break. We'll go over how pausing and changing your schedule work when we set up your plan.

Pricing and Estimates

Read the Pricing Guide

How much does house cleaning cost?

It depends on the size of the home, its condition, the number of bathrooms, the type of cleaning, how often we come and any special tasks. Give us those details and we'll give you an estimate for your home.

Can the final price be different from the estimate?

We'll explain how your estimate works, and what could change it, before anything is booked.

Getting Your Home Ready

How to Get Your Home Ready

Do I need to be home?

That's up to you. If you'll be out, we'll agree how we get in, such as a key, a lockbox or a door code, when we confirm your visit.

What should I do before the cleaner arrives?

Put away valuables, plan for pets, point out fragile items and clear major clutter where you can. Check that we have your access and parking details.

Do you bring your own supplies?

We'll confirm supplies and equipment with your estimate. If you want a particular product used on a surface, or one avoided, tell us then.

What if someone in my home is sensitive to cleaning products?

Tell us before the visit, along with any products you'd rather we didn't use, and we'll plan around it.

What if my home has delicate finishes?

Tell us before the visit about natural stone, specialty wood, antiques, custom finishes or anything with the manufacturer's own cleaning instructions.

Can you clean a home with pets?

Yes. Tell us how many pets you have, what kind and any access needs, so we can plan the visit.

Will a cleaning remove permanent stains?

Not necessarily. It depends on the material, the age and source of the stain, and whether it needs specialist restoration. Point stains out before the visit and we'll tell you what to expect.
