Cleaning Before You Move In
An empty home is the easiest time to clean cabinets, surfaces, bathrooms and floors, before the furniture arrives. Tell us which rooms and fixtures matter most. Typical move-in priorities:
- Kitchen counters and appliance exteriors
- Bathroom fixtures, sinks, mirrors and floors
- Inside cabinet shelves, if you add them
- Floors throughout, with baseboards if you add them
Cleaning Before You Move Out
Moving out brings its own list: empty rooms, a well-used kitchen and bathrooms, and whatever your lease asks for. Answers to these questions help us scope the job:
- Will the home be completely empty, or partly furnished?
- Will the utilities be on, with running water?
- Does your lease require appliance interiors or cabinets to be cleaned?
- Has your landlord given you a move-out checklist?
- Have pets lived in the home, or is there notable buildup?
- What date does the cleaning need to be finished by?
Avoid Surprises on Moving Day
Give us access instructions, parking details and any building rules. If the home won't be fully empty, say so before we quote, because furniture and boxes limit what we can reach.
Extra tasks or conditions we didn't know about change the work involved. The more we know up front, the more accurate your estimate.
About Your Deposit
No cleaning company can guarantee your deposit back. That decision rests with your landlord, based on the lease, the condition of the property and their inspection. What we can do is work from the checklist your landlord gives you.
Move Cleaning Questions
Can you clean before the furniture is moved out?
We can, but furniture limits what we can reach. Tell us what will still be in the home and we'll plan around it.
Are inside the oven and fridge included?
Only if you add them. They take extra time, so put them in your request and they'll be in your estimate.
Is carpet shampooing included?
No. Vacuuming is part of a move clean, but shampooing and carpet extraction are a different service. If your lease calls for it, tell us in your request.
Can I use my landlord's checklist?
Yes. Send it with your request and we'll go through it before we quote.
